“Traveling to Senegal with Destination Dreamcation wasn’t just a trip, but an experience of a lifetime. From the beginning Yahya was concise and clear on the intentions of this trip and followed through to the end. One of my favorite parts of the trip was that I didn’t have to put much effort into it.

All I had to do was Pay & book my flight. The bookings were handled by Destination Dreamcation and don’t worry They don’t just book any accommodations. Destination Dreamcation prides itself in being a luxury travel company and luxury it is! From 5-star hotels to private resorts with wildlife, private chefs. Everything about this trip was intentional, even the itinerary. As an adventure girly this trip really blessed me from doing things I’ve never thought I’d do, like walking with lions, to doing something I’ve always wanted to do, like taking surfing lessons.

There was also balance and moments to relax and pause. From massages, museums, and just laying by the pool watching the sunset. This trip had something for everyone. Another thing I absolutely love about Destination Dreamcation is that the owner, Yahya, doesn’t just travel, but she creates relationships in the different countries that she travels to.

On this trip I was able to witness relationships being created in real time and it was amazing to see and truly shaped the experience into what it was. These trips are far from touristy; they really immerse you in culture and I absolutely love it. Something I will never forget is “The Encounter”.

This was an intentional Holy Spirit-filled experience led by our Host Yahya. This experience ended up happening in the car on the way to the airport, which was perfect because we were able to reflect on the trip and everything God did. There was also personal confirmation for myself for what I was petitioning to God for concerning my identity and relationships.

I could go on and on about this trip, but to wrap it up this experience with Destination Dreamcation wasn’t just a fun time but also healing. It pulled me out of the box I put myself in. It reinforced womanhood and sisterhood. It called me higher and I will forever be grateful. If this was my first trip, I can only imagine what the next will be like!! I can’t wait to book again!”
